The most important job of a good seat is not to disturb the horse. A seat that isn’t quiet and symmetrical can lead to great discomfort, even pain, and ultimately can get in the way of the horse’s even and free movement. Being ridden for a long time by a rider with a bad seat can also lead to negative tension and health issues
